The recent Los Angeles fires have devastated communities in ways we never imagined. Among the many losses, several elementary schools saw their libraries completely destroyed. These weren’t just collections of books—they were places where children found inspiration, learned, and dreamed.

When I heard about this heartbreaking situation, I knew I wanted to help. That’s why I’ve teamed up with 150 incredible authors as part of an initiative led by fellow author Kristi R. Bradbury. Together, we’re donating books to these schools, working to replenish their libraries and classroom collections.

This effort is about more than replacing books—it’s about restoring hope and opportunity for students who’ve lost so much. Every story donated is a chance for a child to discover new worlds, spark their imagination, and find joy in learning again.

I’m incredibly proud that Angelo’s Garden is part of this mission. It’s a small step toward helping communities heal and rebuild stronger than before.
